The “Professionals of the Future: Skills for the Green Economy” project in Brazil, supported by GOPA Worldwide, launched another episode of the Bioeconomy and Circular Economy podcast series.
This episode of the “Profissionais do Futuro” (Professionals of the Future) Podcast spotlights the opportunities for female participation in the circular economy within the textile and apparel industry.
In this episode, Camila Zelezoglo, Sustainability and Innovation Coordinator at the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association - ABIT, and Julia Vidal, CEO of Éwá Poranga, share data and insights on the sector's dynamism.

- Camila Zelezoglo: With a background in International Relations, Camila has been working at ABIT for 10 years, representing over 27,500 companies employing 1.5 million people in Brazil.
- Julia Vidal: A fashion designer, educator, and researcher, Julia specialises in Brazilian cultural ethnicities and works in teacher training. She is also an ambassador for the Colabora Moda Sustentável platform.

This project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) of Germany.
Since 2022, with support from GOPA Infra, GOPA Worldwide Consultants has been providing support to GIZ in implementing the Bioeconomy and Circular Economy component of the Professionals of the Future project.
