As Chief Financial Officer in the GOPA Group Holding, Thomas maintains the integrity of the company’s financial statements, ensures compliance with all financial regulators and tax authorities, leads our business forecasting and modeling work to inform strategic and operational decisions, and ensures that the group is appropriately capitalized to achieve its development mission. Thomas is the first contact for all our financial partners in Germany, in our headquarters in Belgium as well as in all our regional networks.

Based in Bad Homburg, Thomas simultaneously oversees the financial performance controlling of all Group companies and works hand in hand with the financial managers of all Group companies while developing and maintaining adequate systems and tools to monitor the financial performance.

Changing jobs was exciting for Thomas. "I am proud to see that I am now advocating the effective use of financial resources with the goal of defining a better tomorrow."

Thomas is a graduate of business administration and studied at the universities of Tübingen and Miami. He joined GOPA Holding in 2019 as the GOPA Group's Chief Financial Officer.​ Before joining GOPA Group, Thomas gained valuable experience at Commerzbank AG and Dresdner Bank AG for 12 years where he structured corporate finance transactions for commercial clients. Being asked about his personal goal, Thomas said:  “My mission is to further stimulate collaboration on commercial topics within the Group, creating value and driving growth and innovation.” ​
